When I missed my period, I thought it wasn't the right time for me to have a baby. I went to the abortion clinic to get the abortion pill. They checked me in, did the ultrasound and told me I was 8 weeks along. I was so conflicted, I couldn't do it. I got up and left. A few days later, I went to another abortion clinic determined to end the pregnancy. Again, they did the ultrasound and I overheard them say that it was twins! They never told me. Why would they keep that from me? I was so confused, I took the first abortion pill and left the abortionists office with the second pill.
Immediately, I changed my mind. I couldn't go through with it. I frantically searched for a way to reverse this. I found the Abortion Pill Reversal Hotline, They got me in touch with Abundant Hope, and together, we saved my baby girls. I'm so thankful Abundant Hope was there for me.

My girlfriend and I had an appointment to see if she was pregnant. She was considering abortion, but I didn't feel good about that. I agreed to go with her to support her, but my gut was telling me that it wasn't right. She confirmed her pregnancy and I was relieved when she said she wanted to keep the baby.
Things didn't work out for us, but I still wanted to be a good father to my daughter. Abundant Hope offers "The Best Dad's Challenge", which is a fatherhood mentorship program, so I joined. The male mentor I worked with was actually like a father to me. I never knew what a father was supposed to be, He helped give me the support and confidence that I needed to be a great dad to my little girl.

At 16 I got pregnant and had an abortion that changed my life forever. I struggle with despair and regret from the moment I walked into the abortion center. I have since gotten married and have three other children but I still think about my lost baby every day. I finally decided to find help with the emotions I was experiencing and found an abortion recovery Bible study called Surrendering the Secret online. Surrendering the Secret changed my life. I found forgiveness and peace and don't have to hide my story anymore! I am so grateful to Abundant Hope for helping to free me from my past pain. I am now a volunteer at their Center helping other women find healing.
